My mission is to inspire, educate and help people through herbal and naturopathic medicine. I believe that effective naturopathic health care is a partnership between you and your practitioner. A partnership where your health goals are discussed, where you are empowered to take control of your health, and where your treatment is individualised and targeted to your specific needs.
Whether it is diabetes, heart disease, nervous system disorders, digestive complaints or autoimmune conditions, my approach is to focus on you as an individual, in a holistic manner. Combined care involving the best of herbal and naturopathic medicine, along with the best of modern medicine, has proven time and again to offer improved outcomes and patient wellbeing.
In addition to more than 20 years of clinical experience and a Masters Degree in Herbal Medicines from the University of Sydney, I have long held a passion for education and progressing standards within the profession. For eight years I served on the Board of Directors of the Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia and was awarded a Fellowship of the Association in 2006 for “meritorious work within the profession”. For seven years I worked as an Associate Lecturer within the Naturopathy program at Western Sydney University, and am currently a Senior Lecturer at Endeavour College of Natural Health’s Sydney Campus. I also serve on the Expert Scientific Steering Panel for Boundary Bend Olives, am involved in research, and speak at various national and international seminars and conferences.
